What can I upload?

Images, GIFs and clips. Images up to 50 MB, GIFs up to 50 MB, clips up to 200 MB and 1 minute long. Without an account: images up to 20 MB, GIFs and clips up to 50 MB.

Who can see my upload?

You choose. Hidden: anyone with the link, listed nowhere. This is where new uploads start. On my profile: listed on your profile, no votes or comments. In the gallery: listed in feeds, tags and search, with votes and comments.

Is Hidden private?

No. Anyone with the link can open it. It just isn't listed anywhere: not in the gallery, search, tags or your profile.

Is anything removed from my photos?

Yes. Where a photo was taken, and the camera's serial number and owner, are removed from every JPEG, PNG and WebP before it is stored. The pixels are not touched.

How do I delete an upload?

Open it, then More, then Delete. The link stops working for everyone and is never reused.

Links

Which link should I share?

The direct link (0raw.io/uploads/…) shows just the file and embeds anywhere: forums, Reddit, chats. The page link (0raw.io/i/…) opens the post with its title and comments. Moderators who allow image hosts by name can find ours on Image hostnames.

Why is a link preview blurred?

The post is marked Mature. Its links work like any other, but the preview a chat or forum shows is blurred with the word Mature, so nobody sees it by surprise.

I had an imgmeow account

When imgmeow.app has moved here, sign in with the same username and password. Your uploads, albums and links come with it. Download a new ShareX config if you used one.

Do I need an email address?

No. Without one you can't reset a forgotten password, and notices about your uploads reach you only on 0raw.

Why are some posts blurred?

They are marked Mature: suggestive, violent, horror or medical. Reveal shows one for as long as the page is open. To see them without the blur, turn on Show mature content without blur in Settings, Content. You need to be 18 or over.

Can I post nudity?

No. Nudity and sexual content are not allowed on 0raw, art included. They are removed, not labelled. Rules

How do I get a copy of my data, or delete my account?

Settings, Data export builds one archive with your files and everything about them. Delete account erases the account and its uploads.

How trending works

Every post to the gallery starts in Newest. It moves to Most viral, the home page, once enough different people like it while it is young. Every number here is in use today; when we change one, it changes here first.

Points

Upvotes minus downvotes. Your own vote on your own post doesn't count.

Different people

A post moves to Most viral with 15 points and upvotes from at least 10 accounts, each 3 days old or more with a confirmed email. Upvotes from one network in the same hour count as one person.

Comments

Half a point for each different person commenting, so an argument between two people lifts nothing.

Views

One point per 200 views.

Age

Everything above is divided by (hours + 2) to the power 1.5, so a new post with fewer points can rank above an older one.

Window

A post can reach Most viral only in its first 48 hours, and leaves it 7 days after it was posted. It stays in Top for good.

The other feeds

• Newest: every gallery post, newest first. Its Rising sort uses the same score among posts that have not reached Most viral yet.
• Top: plain points among posts made in the period you choose, with no weighting for age.
• Trending, beside every post: the highest scores among posts of the last 7 days.
• Following: posts from the people and tags you follow, newest first.

What is never ranked

• Posts labelled Mature are never in Most viral, Top or Trending, for anyone. They show in Newest, Following, tags, search and profiles, blurred.
• Hidden posts, posts only on a profile, posts held for review, and removed or deleted posts are in no feed at all.
• Posts by people you block, or who block you, are left out of your feeds; so are posts by people you mute.

Reports and notices

What happens after I report something?

You get a receipt with a reference on screen, and by email if you gave one. When we decide, we tell you what we did and how to ask for a review if you disagree. Open the report form

My post was removed

Your notice says which rule, what we found and whether a person or an automatic check found it. Appeal from the notice within six months. While 0raw is small one person moderates, so the appeal is looked at again from the start and the reasons for the answer are written down.
