How 0raw is paid for
Storage, bandwidth and moderation cost money every month. This is where that money comes from, so you can judge whether we will still be here in ten years.
Updated 16 Oct 2026
Today
0raw is new, and nothing on it earns money yet: there are no ads and no membership to buy. Björkén Media AB pays the running costs itself while both are being set up.
The plan is two sources:
- Ads
- Not live yet. Shown to visitors who are not members, in fixed boxes marked Advertisement.
- Membership
- Not on sale yet. €3.99 a month or €39 a year, VAT included. Members see no ads.
Once both are live, this page says every month how much of the running costs members covered.
Ads, and where they never go
When ads come, they start only on Most viral, Top and the pages of posts labelled SFW, at fixed sizes, never above the image you came for.
- Never on the upload page, in settings, on sign in, or on legal and help pages.
- Never on raw files, embeds or direct links.
- Never on the page of a post marked Mature, and never in a feed for someone who turned the Mature blur off.
- No pop ups, no sound, nothing that moves the page while you read.
In the EU, the UK and Switzerland nothing for ads will load until you choose in a cookie banner. Until ads are live there is no banner, because there is nothing to ask about.
Membership
One plan: no ads anywhere, clips up to 3 minutes, the Member badge, and awards to give. Uploads, albums, the gallery, votes, comments and ShareX stay free for everyone. It is not on sale yet.
Where the money goes
- Files
- Storage and delivery of every upload, on Cloudflare.
- The site
- Pages and the database, on Vercel and Neon.
- Password resets and notices, sent by Resend.
- Moderation
- Answering reports and appeals, and the checks every upload passes before it is public.
Who runs it
Björkén Media AB, in Sweden. It ran imgmeow.app before 0raw. If 0raw ever closes, the pledge says what happens to your uploads. Read the pledge
